The emphasis here is on practical experience so that skills can actually be picked up and habits changed.

Role play and other games are introduced. This enables the learning to take place in a light-hearted and enjoyable atmosphere.

The four main elements of ideal communication are worked with and seen in action. The problem solving work on communication difficulties includes ways of easily recognising unhelpful patterns.

Follow Up and Timings    return

The most effective format for this course is a one day event followed by a further day or part day within two weeks. It is very important to follow up and review the findings of this course. We will be as flexible as possible in scheduling the follow-up day.
