To reduce stress among staff
by helping them to identify changes necessary to restore
balance in their lives; and to develop strategies for making
these changes.
Content

There are three main elements
to the course:
(i) Relaxation
and reflection exercises to bring about calm and clarity
creating the ideal atmosphere for:
(ii) Creatively
engaging with: problem-solving on sources of stress in an
enjoyable, stimulating sequence of clearly defined steps
leading to:
(iii)
Action Planning - the outcomes of the problem solving are
specific tasks which will bring about the desired changes.
These tasks may be related to work or personal issues.
Follow Up and Timings

We recommend one day followed
by a further day or part day within two weeks. Alternatively:
a series of five 2 hour sessions, usually over five weeks.
Timings can be arranged to suit your working hours.
Follow-up sessions
are recommended for these courses. Alternatively a system
of contracts can be built in enabling participants to offer
each other regular support.
