Chris Hoyle, founder and proprietor of Clear Mind Training
“For me the best experience is being with a client who is seeing new perspectives, new ways of relating to their lives. There is a sense of freedom, joy and an opening of new possibilities. I find it very rewarding to be part of that process.
“I started in the field of personal development 30 years ago teaching meditation. In 1986 I founded Clear Mind Training, initially pioneering with meditation techniques in Stress Management. The training side grew to include a wide range of courses, always with that emphasis on helping people towards better states of mind.
“Since that time I have also received a vast range of trainings and influences. These include Rogerian Counselling (with British Association of Counselling), Moderator Training (a German training discipline), NLP, Non Violent Communication (with CNVC), Enneagrams (with Excellence for All) and Coactive Coaching (with the Coaches Training Institute).
“When I started coaching in 2003 I gave a great deal of emphasis to that part of the business. However, I have now returned to a balance of coaching and training, individual and group work, there being advantages to either. I love the depth and prolonged contact possible with coaching and I am at the same time impressed with the quality of learning possible in the groups. All of it leads to unleashing of potential- in your life or in your teams at work.”
